The Wood County Safety Council is a joint program of the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation-Division of Safety & Hygiene and the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. Established in FY15, the Wood County Safety Council continues to grow in membership and in offering an array of diverse and beneficial programs.
The goal of the Wood County Safety Council is to help reduce workers’ compensation premiums by enhancing worker safety and health, through membership in the safety council and our various helpful programs. Membership in the Wood County Safety Council will enable your organization to take advantage of the savings afforded by eliminating or reducing workplace injuries or illnesses, avoid fines and stay updated on BWC requirements. Membership in the Wood County Safety Council is open to all, regardless of Bowing Green Chamber membership statues. Annual membership dues are $50 for companies with 1-99 employees and $100 for companies with 100+ employees. This covers one person attending each of the regular 12 continental breakfast meetings per year.
